1) Uniden Vehicle Security Alarms are warranted against detects in rnaterial and workmanship
for 12 months from the date of sale to the original purchaser. To validate this Warranty, the
Warranty Registration Card must be completed and returned to Uniden within 10 days from
the date of purchase. This Warranty does not cover battohes. Uniden's obligation under
this Warranty shail be limited to the freo-of-charge repair (or replacement at Uniden's sole
discretion) of the faulty componGnt(s), v/hich Uniden finds to be defective in material or
workmanship under normal use and service.
Unidon (N2) Ltd. are the distributors of Uiis alarm system and not an alarm installer. Every
effort has been made to maintain a high standard of authorised installers, but does not
guarantee the quality of the installation.
This warranty is extended to the original consumer purchaser only (non-transferable).
2) This warranty is void if damage is caused by, or attributed to, Acts of God, physical or
electrical misuse or abuse, neglect, repair or alteration without the expressed written
consent of Uniden, if installed by an unauthorised Uniden dealer, instailer or purchaser
(except VS230), improper or abnormal usage, damage by water, faulty instaliation,
unauthorised repair or improper testing, if used with accessories not approved by Uniden, or
if for any other reason Uniden determines that such equipment is not operating properly as
a resuit of causes other than poor workmanship or defective material of the product.
Charges will be rendered if damages can be attributed to any of the above reasons or if the
warranty period has expired or it the warranty registration card has not been registered.
3) THE OBUGATION OF UNIDEN SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE REPAIR OH
REPLACEMENT ONLY. -
IN NO EVENT SHALL UNIDEN EE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, COLLATERAL,
INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES FOR (i) BREACH OF ANY OF THE
PROVISIONS HEREOF, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, PROVISIONS
REGARDING WARRANTIES, GUARANTEES, AND/OR INDEMNITIES; OR (¡1) ANY
CLA.iMS BY THE PURCHASER CONCERNING THE GOODS WITHOUT LIMITATION,
CLAIMS FOR LOSS OF GOODWILL, LOSS OF PROFIT OH REVENUES, LOSS OF USE,
COST OF REMOVAL, INSTALLATION OR REINSTALLATION, PERSONAL INJURY OF
ANY KIND TO THE PURCHASER OR ANYONE ELSE, THEFT OR DAMAGE TO THE
VEHICLE OR IT'S CONTENTS, AND/OR ANY INABILITY ON THE PART OF THE
CONSUMER PURCHASER TO USE THE EQUIPMENT. THIS WARRANTY IS NOT AN
INSURANCE POLICY AGAINST LOSS.
4) THE FOREGOING WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER W'ARRANTIES, WHETHER
EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, OR ARISING BY LAW, CUSTOM, OR CONDUCT,
INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND/
OR FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE, THIS GUARANTEE IS IN ADDITION
TO AND DOES NOT IN ANYWAY AFFECT YOUR RIGHTS UNDER THE CONSUMER
GUARANTEES ACT.
5) Uniden makes no other expressed warranty for this security product. No agent,
representative, dealer or employee of Uniden has the authority to increase or alter the
obligations or limitations of the Warranty,
6) Uniden's policy is one of continued development and Improvement For this reason, Uniden
reserves the right to change specifications without notice and without incurring any
obiigation to similarly alter products previously purchased.
7 ) For Warranty repair, return the product froight prepaid to:

A copy of the original sales receipt must be included. To help expedite the repair/
replacement of the product, please remember to include a detailed description of the
problem experienced, together with a return address and contact phone number.
