In case of difficulty

What seems to be a malfunction is not always so. Before calling for service, check the following table according to the symptom
of your trouble.

Operation to reset

The microcomputer may fall into malfunction (impossibility

to operate, erroneous display, etc.) when the power cord is

unplugged while power is ON or due to an external factor. In

this case, execute the following procedure to reset the

microcomputer and return it to normal condition.

Set the POWER switch to ON (set to Standby

mode). Then press the key, i<4 key and STOP
key in this order.

Please

tunable

The preset memory has been cleared be­

Leave the unit with the powe off for about

15 minutes, and then turn the power on. If

this does not help, contact your dealer for

service.

No sound from the surround speakers

The Listen mode is STEREO.

Select Surround with the

Listen mode

key.
