1. INTRODUCTION

The DVI-7330 is an HDCP compliant fiber optic transport system capable of
distributing high resolution DVI and HDMI signals over a single optical fiber with
cable lengths up to 300 meters (1,000 ft.).

DVI and HDMI input signals from a source device such as a PC, cable set-top
box, or Blu-Ray player are converted into light pulses by an optical transmitter
module for transmission over a single strand of multimode fiber optic cable. On
the display side, an optical receiver module converts the light pulses back to high-
speed serial data for display on a monitor or projector equipped with an HDMI or
DVI input.

These unique capabilities make the DVI-7330 an ideal solution for a wide range of
digital display applications that require flawless digital signal quality over very long
cable runs.

This product offers several unique features and benefits:

• Long distance transport of high-speed single-link DVI or HDMI signals

using a detachable, multi-mode fiber optic cable that can easily be pulled
through 1/2” conduit and can be terminated in the field.

• No copper cables are required. EDID and HDCP communications are

supported through the fiber optic connection.

• Cable distances up to 300 meters (1,000 ft.) can be achieved with one

multi-mode fiber.

• Supports HDTV resolutions up to 1080p/60 with 12-bit color and PC

resolutions up to 1920x1200 and 2048x1080.

• Supports digital bit-rates up to 2.25 Gbps/color, 6.75 Gbps total.

• Immune to environmental signal noise.

• Low RFI/EMI emissions for sensitive applications.

• Includes +5VDC External AC Power Adapters for both Transmitter and

Receiver units.
