2. Connect the UC4+ power cable (C10)

to the UC4+ Control Panel in the
sprayer cab. Ensure both plugs (P16A
and P4) are connected to the panel
(Figure 24).

Ensure the UC4 control panel’s

power is OFF for the remaining
installation (Bottom of switch
pressed IN). Use caution when
handling the 12 V power line of
the sprayer wiring.

3. Connect the 3-pin AMP receptacle

(R3A) on the power interface cable
(C14) to the matching 3-pin plug (P3)
on C10. The other end of the C14
cable can be teed to an auxiliary 12 V
connection in the sprayer cab. If the
appropriate connector cannot be found,

it may be necessary to cut off the
connector(s) and splice into the existing
wiring.

4. Route the receptacle end (R16) of C10

out of the cab.

5. Connect the 16-pin AMP plug (P16) of

the valve extension cable (C11) to R16

of C10. This is the hitch connection.

6. Route C11 to the rear of the sprayer,

in the vicinity of the valve block.

7. Connect the 6-pin Shroud (S6) on the

interface cable (C12) to the mating 6-
pin Tower (T6A) on C11 (Figure 25).

8. Route the free end of C12 to the

existing valve block (Figure 25).

9. Insert two sets of the Deutsch

connector tees (P2A-R2A and P2C-
R2C
) on C12 between the matching
connections on the existing sprayer
valve harness: MAIN UP and MAIN
DOWN. For each tee, the function is
labeled on the branch wire.

The tee, P2B-R2B (labeled MAIN

UP), is not used for this
installation. Leave it unplugged.

10. Unplug the existing connectors on the

sprayer left and right boom control
valve connections. There are four
connectors to unplug: Left Up, Left
Down, Right Up and Right Down.
