Creating a Text file from HyperTerminal to Import into Word® or Excel®

To save the data on your computer screen and/or transfer to Excel or Word, you must use the toolbar feature
of HyperTerminal called "Capture Text". This feature allows you to send information from HyperTerminal
to a text file for later evaluation. This text file then can be imported into Word or Excel.

First, make sure that you have setup the HyperTerminal correctly and that it is communicating with the
balance or PDA. Also create a directory and file name into which you want to save the text file.

From the main toolbar select Transfer. Then select Capture Text.
