system is connected to ANY through-the-hull

fittings, properly installed seacocks MUST be

installedinallpipingconnectedtothrough-the-

hullfittings.SeacocksMUSTbeeasilyaccessible

to all users of the toilet system or secondary

valves fitted in hoses where they are easily

accessible.ALWAYScloseseacockswhentoilet

systemisnotinuse(evenifboatisunattended

forabriefperiod.AllvalvesMUSTbefullbore

valvesandmarinequality.Screw-to-closegate

valvesarenotrecommended.Failuretocomply

canresultinfloodingwhichcancauselossof

propertyandlife.

HAZARD OF FLOODING – If toilet is

connectedtoANYthrough-the-hullfittings,ALL

flexiblehosesmustbeofmarinesanitationquality

and must be secured to ANY fittings (such as

thoseatseacock,ventedlooportoilet)withtwo

stainlesssteel,worm-drivehosebandclampsat

eachconnection.ConnectionsMUSTbechecked

frequently for integrity. Failure to comply can

result in flooding which can cause loss of

propertyandlife.

1. Positionportabletoiletindesiredlocation.

Makesureofadequateclearanceforlid

andseatin“up”positionandclearanceat

thesidestounlatchandremovetoptank.

2. Opensideclaspsbypullingoutwardattop

ofsideclasps.

3. Placehold-downbrackets,withmounting

holesfacingawayfromtoilet,underthe

tankandalignwithgrooves.SeeFigure1.

4. Usepencilorawltomarklocationofhold-

downbracketmountingholes.

5. Removeportabletoilet.
6. Attachhold-downbracketstotheflooror

deckwithscrewsprovided.

7. Setportabletoiletbetweenbracketsand

latchinplacewithsideclasps.
