Clean the outside of the telephone with a soft damp cloth. Do not
use any type of abrasive pad, scouring powder, or solvent such
as alcohol or benzene, as they may damage the finish on the
plastic housing.

Q: Why doesn’t my telephone ring on incoming calls?
A: Check if the ringer volume is turned off (bell icon displayed) and that the
telephone plug is connected to your telephone jack.
Q: Why are calls not being announced by name?
A: Check to make sure you have subscribed to caller ID service. In
addition, the caller’s name needs to be recorded into the on-board phonebook.
Also make sure the caller ID announcement volume is turned on.
Q: Why aren’t Call Waiting calls identified?
A: Check that you have subscribed to Call Waiting ID service. This is not
the same as having call waiting and having caller ID.
Q: Will my telephone work during a power outage?
A: The basic telephone functions will work, but the display and speakerphone
functions will not work.
