Accessing the ECM from network
App for Andoid/iOS
An app to control your ECM is available in the Google Play store for android powered devices.
Search for Electrocompaniet ECM in the Google Play store or scan the QR code.
App for iOS will be available soon.
The app will let you browse your library and control playback on your ECM.
Tablet app Smart phone app
UPnP
Your ECM fully supports the UPnP protocols for sharing and communicating with other UPnP enabled
devices. Your ECM will act as a UPnP server.
Web interface
A simple web interface is available for controlling your ECM from any device with a web browser within
your network (such as a computer, a smart phone or a tablet etc.)
Open the web browser on your device and write the IP address of your ECM as the web address (URL).
Exploring internal storage

Windows:
You can access your ECM’s local storage (if you
have added a local drive) using the windows
explorer. Open the windows explorer on your com-
puter and navigate to the Network section. Your
ECM should be available identified with the name
of the unit.

NOTE:
Your computer have to be connected to the same network as your ECM for access through network.

NOTE:
You can also access your ECM by typing the IP address, or the name of your unit, using the windows explorer.
For example: \\192.168.0.1 or \\ECM2. You can always check the IP addrress in Settings -> Information.
