Settings - Output Settings

Video

Here you can change the output video resolution from your ECM. Refer to the user manual of your TV and

choose the output resolution from the ECM to match the preferred input resolution of your display. To display

the user interface and your movies in full HD use 1920x1080p. Usually no changes will be needed here as

the ECM will autodetect the preferred resolution of your display.

Available resolutions: 1920x1080p, 1680x1050, 1600x900, 1440x900, 1440x1050p, 1280x1024p,

1024x960p, 1280x800p, 1280x768p, 1280x720p, 1024x768p, 1024x600, 800x600, 800x480p, 640x480p

• Video calibration

These settings allow you to calibrate the User Interface

by adjusting the overscan. Use this tool if the image

being displayed is too large or too small to fit perfectly

to your display.

Simply adjust the screen so that the arrows are in the

top left and bottom right corners and that the entire

frame is visible on screen.

• Maximum YouTube resolution

Use this setting for limiting the resolution of a YouTube streamed video. If you prefer individual resolutions

on different contents choose Ask.

• Turn off display after

Allows you to set the amount of idle time required before the display is turned off.

• Screensaver after

Allows you to set the amount of idle time required before displaying the screensaver.

• Audio offset in milliseconds (lip-sync)

Adjusts the time the audio is delayed in relation to the video. This setting is useful if you experience that

the audio does not match the picture when watching videos.

Aspect Ratio

Allows you to choose how the video is displayed.

Hold the OK button during the video playback and then select the aspect ratio from context menu.

The Aspect ratio options:

Normal - Movie is displayed so that at least 1 dimension fills the screen. No cropping will occur.

Aspect ratio is unaffected.

Zoom - Movie is zoomed in, and the movie cropped so that there are no black bars on screen. Aspect

ratio is unaffected.

Stretch 4x3 - Movie is stretched to fill a 4x3 frame. Aspect ratio is changed.

Wide Zoom - Movie is stretched to fill a 14x9 frame. Aspect ratio is changed.

Stretch 16x9 - Movie is stretched to fill a 16x9 frame. Aspect ratio is changed.

Original Size - Movie is displayed so that the height (in pixels) displayed is the height of the movie

exactly. No zooming is performed. Aspect ratio is unaffected.

Custom - Movie is displayed using the Zoom and Pixel Ratio settings as defined in the video calibration.
