PiP Input Mask

The PiP feature, when used with the Input Mask and the "PiP Timer" features, allows creation of a special PiP
window for use with the On-Screen-Display (OSD) of and Audio-Video-Receiver (AVR). For example, a
programmable remote could turn on the PiP for an input from the AVR when adjusting the AVR’s volume control
and show just the slice of the menu from the AVR with the volume display (using the Input Mask feature) could be
overlaid onto the screen and the PiP window could be programmed to automatically turn off after a programmed
time using the PiP Timer. See the Input Mask section for information on programming an input mask.

PiP/PoP Per-Input Mode Selection

Each input has an associated default PiP/PoP mode number. After a factory reset, all inputs are associated with
PiP/PoP mode 1. The command format is:

MENU → Other → PiP Setup → PiPSEL/Mode → OK

Inputs are listed on the left, and their user specified PiP/PoP default mode is listed on the right. Use the left and
right arrow keys to highlight either the input number or the mode number. Use the up and down arrows to select
the input or mode.
