The frequency can be precisely specified also by entering a value into the additional
(red) edit box.

TIP: The frequency is being entered in Hz units. If, however, the letter “M”
follows the numeric value, the value is considered to be in MHz. If the letter “k”
follows numeric value, it is considered to be a kHz value.

Clicking “Zoom in” button decreases displayed frequency range, clicking “Zoom out”
increases displayed frequency range and clicking “Zoom away” sets displayed
frequency range to maximum.

4.3. Triggering controls

The waveform generation is controlled by trigger controls located in the middle right
of the main window.

Waveform can be generated in following two modes:
- Single – the waveform is generated once on synchronization event
- Period – the waveform is generated continuously (the synchronization event has no
influence on generation)

4.3.1. “Single” mode

Following two trigger events can be selected in this mode:

- Manual trigger event – clicking the “Go” button starts the generation. Turn trigger
off (click “Off” button in the trigger panel) to select this mode.
