A b o u t T h e D u e ’
Like all Anthony Gallo Acoustics loudspeakers, Due uses our proprietary "S2" technology, which
extends low frequency response two full octaves lower than would otherwise be possible in
speakers of this size. S2 technology improves something called "Volumetric Efficiency," which
measures how the speaker’s drivers perceive the size of their enclosure. While a typical speaker’s
volumetric efficiency is between 1 and 2, our technology gives us a rating of 10. This means that
our speaker operates as if its enclosure was 10 times its actual size. At the same time, the
acoustic fill material (ie., the stuffing inside the enclosure) mass-couples to the cone at low

Unique among all currently-produced loudspeakers, Due employs our remarkable CDT (Cylindrical
Diaphragm Transducer) tweeter--widely acclaimed as the finest high frequency driver available. It
is yet one more patented component that distinguishes Anthony Gallo Acoustics from other
loudspeaker manufacturers. The CDT starts with a diaphragm membrane made of Kynar™, a
cutting-edge aerospace plastic. This Kynar™ diaphragm is then coated with pure silver, an
expensive metal used because of its high conductivity and long-term reliability. Next, we silver
solder high purity OFC (oxygen free copper) wires to each end of the diaphragm. Finally, the
diaphragm assembly is tightly wrapped around a rigid polypropylene core. This inner core provides
complete attenuation of the driver’s backwave. Unlike conventional drivers, the CDT doesn’t use a
voice coil or magnets. Instead, the signal is passed across the conductive surface of the
diaphragm, which attempts to expand, while the shape of the driver supplies the necessary
restorative force.
The performance benefits of CDT technology are dramatic. With more diaphragm area than two
dozen 1" dome tweeters, our transducer has virtually unlimited output capability. At the same time,
the lack of voice coils, coil-formers and surrounds means the CDT has very low moving mass, so it
can respond more quickly to high frequency transients. Power handling is virtually unlimited, which
means your CDT cannot be damaged by amplifier overload. Finally, its cylindrical shape endows
the CDT with a dispersion pattern of 120 degrees and delivers the same response off-axis as it

Our Nucleus Due’ speakers are warranted to the original purchaser to be free of manufacturing defects for a
period of five years. An original dated bill of sale must be retained and the warranty card filled out and returned
to establish ownership of Anthony Gallo Acoustics Loudspeakers.

STATEMENT OF WARRANTY
We warranty this product to be free from all defects in material and workmanship for a period of five years parts
and labor. This warranty will be void if:
1. Any defect in this product is the result of abuse, misuse, damage in transit, defective associated equipment,
faulty hook-up, the use of the speakers with equipment for which it was not intended or acts of God.
2. The unit has been operated contrary to instructions contained in the accompanying Owner’s Manual.
3. The unit has been serviced by unauthorized personnel.
Precautions when installing this product:
Special care must be taken when installing this product to walls, ceilings, or other surfaces.
Fasteners must be secured to surfaces and tested before installing speakers. Good judgment and care must be
undertaken to ensure proper results. If you are unsure of the proper installation of fasteners, inquire from
qualified sources before taking unnecessary risks.
Warranties:
Anthony Gallo Acoustics (manufacturer) warranties this product for five years from date of purchase. Should
any part supplied become defective, return item to manufacturer. A replacement part shall be forwarded upon
receipt. The manufacturer, distributor, or their respective agents cannot be held responsible for any injuries or
property damage caused by the improper use or installation of this product.
