Navigational mode
The Map info key
You can perform the following settings
in the Map info configuration window. The Automode key
You can choose the following settings in
the Automode configuration window:
Setting Meaning
Points of inte-
rest If you activate this entry,
an additional bar appears
at the base of the map,
indicating the scale, a
compass and your cur-
rent speed.
Street names If you activate this entry,
all street names are dis-
played in the map.
Info box If u push this button on u
get displayed the point
of compass, the speed
and the sea level.

Setting Meaning
Start setting Decide whether you
wish to have a 3D dis-
play or 2D display of
the map as the default
setting.

3D autozoom Decide whether
you wish to work with
Autozoom or No auto-
zoom as the default set-
ting while navigating in
the 3D display.
With the Autozoom op-
tion, the zoom range va-
ries according to your
speed: When you drive
slowly, the scale is de-
creased. When you dri-
ve faster, the scale is in-
creased.
2D autozoom Choose No auto zoom,
Low, Normal or High
as the default setting for
navigating with a 2D
view.
With the auto zoom
function, the zoom
depth changes in line
with your speed: The
scale becomes smaller
when you drive slowly.
The scale becomes lar-
ger when you drive fas-
ter.
