• Do not clamp any objects between the barrel
[2] and clip [3].
• Switch the unit off immediately if it is defective
or malfunctioning.
• Fold out the stand [12]. The stand [12] pre-
vents the barrel [2] from touching the surface
while becoming hot.
• Place the curling iron with the stand [12] onto
a stable, horizontal and non-combustible
surface or hold the curling iron in your hand.
• Press the button [7].
- The heating element in the curling iron is
switched on.
- The warm-up phase is displayed by a
flashing
heat indicator lamp [6].
- When the selected temperature has been
reached, this is displayed by a continuously
lit heat indicator lamp [6].
• The curling iron is ready for use in a few minu-
tes.
Adjusting the temperature
The temperature can be adjusted continuously.
• You can increase (+) or decrease (-) the tem-
perature using the temperature controller [5].
We recommend the following temperature
settings:
Level Hair type
Low -
medium
Fine, fragile, coloured or bleached hair
Medium
- high
Normal and thick hair
Note
• The higher the selected temperature, the more
quickly you get the desired result.
Shaping hair
• Dry your hair completely before using the
curling iron.
• Your hair should be clean and free of styling
products.
• Comb your hair with a wide-toothed comb to
untangle it.
• Divide your hair into individual strands with a
width of about 2 cm. Hold the strands taut.
• Press on the lever [4] to open the clip [3].
Shaping hair ends
• Place the hair strand ends between the barrel
[2] and the clip [3].
• Close the clip [3] to hold the hair strands in
place.
