Specifying the Entry Effect
For text frames, eight entry effects are available: Instant, Scroll Left, Scroll
Right, Scroll Up, Scroll Down, Roll Up, Roll Down, Roll Left and Travel.
To set an entry effect, place the cursor on the desired line and then choose
the desired effect from the drop down window.


Line Justification

Lines of text can be centered, left justified or right justified. To justify a
line, place the cursor anywhere on the desired line and then click on the
justification button.



Flashing Text

Text can be set to flash by highlighting the desired text and then clicking on the flash button.

Selected text will appear on a gray background. To turn off the flash, highlight the text and click
on the flash button again. The rate of flash is set in the Frame Properties dialog box (refer to
Section 5.8).


5.6 Character

Map


The character map allows Extended ASCII characters and graphic font
characters to be inserted into a message without knowing the keystrokes.

1. To access this feature go to the Text pull down menu and select

Character Map. A character map window will appear.

2. Make sure that the size of the character on the character map

matches the size that you want displayed in the message.

3. Place your cursor in the place that you want the character entered

and then click on the desired character


5.7 Graphic

Frames


Only matrix display types, Galaxy, SunSpot and Glow Cube, can use graphic frames. Add a graphic

frame to your message by clicking on the new graphic frame button

, or selecting Insert and then

Graphic from the Frame pull-down menu. The graphic toolbar should now be active.
