Exchanging the fine filters

After about 5 dust bags have been filled, the fine filters must be replaced by new ones.

Discard the used paper bag and the fine filters with other household waste.

Intake fine filter

Remove the cartridge holding the fine filter from the dust bag compartment by pulling it

upward (Figure 20). Open the cartridge (Figure 21). Install the filter in the upper part of

the cartridge (Figure 22), so that the coarse and dark side of the filter faces towards the

cartridge handle. Click the cartridge shut. Following the removal procedure in the reverse

order, install the cartridge over the lugs and push it inside the cleaner suction chamber until

it clicks in place.

Exhaust micro-filter

To exchange the exhaust fine filter, depress the lock in the upper side of the grille, remove

the grille off the cleaner (Figure 23) and exchange the filter for a new one (Figure 24).

CAUTION

– Neglecting regular exchange of fine filters can result in cleaner defect!

– Observe the correct pattern in which the intake fine filters are installed in the cartridge.

– The maximum suction effect will be reached with a clean filter and an dust filter.

– Proper insertion of the dust filter to the holder will secure the mechanical safety lock.

Now you can close the lid of the vacuum cleaner

– You can buy a replacement dust filter and a micro-filter in the elektro shop chain.

Storing accessories

Accessories (crevice nozzle and brush) put into openable cover

A17 (Fig.25). The

accessories (

B4), the floor nozzle, the suction tubes and the hose can be dismantled again

or left assembled and hung on the back side or on the bottom of the vacuum cleaner into

the storage position (figures 26, 27). For better stability, slide individual parts of the tube

to each other so that the tube is as short as possible. When storing, always set the floor

nozzle to the carpet position (i.e. with the brush retracted); thus you will prevent bending of

the bristles.

Iv. MAINTENANCE

Store the vacuum cleaner at a dry place, far enough from heat sources (e.g.

fireplace,

stove, heating element) and protect it from weather conditions (e.g. rain, sunshine).

Treat surface of the appliance with a soft and damp cloth, do not use coarse and aggressive

detergents! Store the appliance properly cleaned at a dry, dust-free place out of reach of

children and incapacitated people.

Floor nozzle / brush

After any vacuuming it is recommended to check visually the brushes or collectors for

possible impurities. If there are some impurities, remove them.
