One-Touch Paging
The One-touch paging feature allows the operator to send a preprogrammed alias page at any time during
most modes of operation with the touch of a button.

When the One-Touch paging window is opened via the ONE-TOUCH button on the main toolbar, the
One-Touch Paging window will overlay, or occupy, the same desktop space as the standard paging
window. The standard paging window and the One-Touch Paging window will never be open or visible
at the same time. If in paging mode when the operator presses the ONE-TOUCH button, the console will
exit paging mode and open the One-Touch Paging window. If the One-Touch Paging window is opened
when the operator presses the toolbar PAGING button, the One-Touch Window will close and paging
mode will be entered, assuming the current mode of operation will allow entry into paging mode.
The One-Touch Paging window allows the operator to view up to 12 aliases at one time. Using the UP
and DOWN buttons located to the right of the alias buttons, the operator can page up and down 12 aliases
at a time to view up to the maximum of all 250 aliases. Since operators may require a different set of
aliases for dispatch, the available aliases and the order in which they appear is configurable per operator
using the Operator Setup function.
If no aliases have been configured, selecting the ONE-TOUCH button will display a Paging Error dialog
box, indicating that no aliases have been selected for the operator profile. Further, the labeling of buttons
is derived from the CARD Suite database, and is not editable by the Navigator GUI. The CARD Suite
database enforces a limitation of 12 characters per alias. To maintain visual consistency, the font of each
label remains the same, regardless of the number of characters.
