Connecting Up-Mix Modules
Figure 6-24 shows how an up-mix module might be inserted in the audio graph. In this example,
the inputs can be in stereo or 5.1 surround.

Connecting Metadata to Up-Mix Modules
We need to control the up-mix module depending on whether the input is stereo or 5.1
surround, so the module can know whether to up-mix the input, or pass it straight through. To
