RS 422/485 Port (Rear Panel)
The RS485 port that can be used for Machine Control of various devices, or
for switcher control by an external controller.
RS 232 Port (Front Side PC Boards)
There is an RS232 serial port, xxx located on front of the Controller Board.
There are in each case one on the Menu Processor, on the Panel Processor
and on the optional second Menu Processor. These ports are used for diag-
nostics. If you need to use these ports to diagnose problems with the
Kayenne XL switcher, please contact your Grass Valley Customer Service
Representative.
