Pin Assignments
RS-422/485 Ports
Eight RS-422/485 ports are available on the rear of the Kayenne 8-RU and
4 RU Frames, and can be used to control various devices, or for switcher
control by an external controller.
One RS-422/485 port is also located on the rear of the Kayenne PCU.
Note
The Frame serial port pinout is automatically configured based on assign-
ment. The Frame is the bus controller when controlling external devices,
PBus, and serial tally. The Frame is a tributary when being controlled by an
editor.
