Note

When making the own line settings you also need to fill in the
external line prefix (

Ext. line

). This prefix (for example: 0) may be

required before you can make an external call. This external line
prefix is not part of the phone number.

International
access code

Required digits when you want to make an
international call (e.g. 00).
Only in the phone book a + can be used instead.

Country code

A code for the country, one or more digits.

Area code

Countries can have area codes for phone
numbers in geographically different areas.

PBX prefix

When connected to a switchboard, all phone
numbers of the connected phones start with the
same first part. This common part is the PB X
prefix
(for examples, see below).

Extension number

Unique part of the phone number, distinguishing
the phone number from other phone numbers.
