5 . Reliable earthing (grounding) — Maintain reliable
grounding of rack-mounted equipment. Pay particular
attention to supply connections other than direct
connections to the branch circuit (such as the use of power
strips).
Rack mounting procedure
These distribution amplifiers can be mounted on any of the
following rack shelves:
RSF 123 (part # 60-190-20) 1U 3.5" VersaTools •

RSB 123 (part # 60-604-21) 1U 3.5" VersaTools basic rack shelf •
RSU 126 (part # 60-190-10) 1U 6" rack shelf kit •
RSB 126 (part # 60-604-11) 1U 6" basic rack shelf •
RSU 129 (part # 60-190-01) 1U 9.5" rack shelf kit •
RSB 129 (part # 60-604-02) 1U 9.5" basic rack shelf •
Use 2 mounting holes on

Rack mounting the DVI DA2 or DVI DA4
To mount the distribution amplifier on a rack shelf:
1
. If necessary, remove rubber feet from the bottom of the
unit.
2 . Align two diagonally opposite mounting holes on the
unit with two pre-drilled holes in the shelf. Use the two
provided 4-40 x 3/16" screws to secure the unit on the
shelf.
3 . Install other unit(s) or false faceplate(s) on the rack shelf.
