Shutdown/Disassembly

DANGER

Lethal voltages are still present in the terminals and cables even

after switching off and disconnection of the battery system.
Severe injuries or death may occur if the cables and terminals in the

device are touched.

Complete de-energisation only occurs if the bulk power supply is

switched off upstream of the battery system.

Remove battery (batteries) from the Battery Management System (BMS).

↻ Battery system disconnected from the DC and AC supply.
1. Remove plexiglass cover
2. Remove DC breakers from the battery(ies).
3. Disconnect communication between the battery and the Battery Manage-

ment System (BMS). (Including terminator)

4. Remove covers on the Battery Management System (BMS) contacts and

the battery poles.

5. Remove the busbar on the (-) minus pole.
6. Remove the busbar on the (+) plus pole.
7. Fit covers on the Battery Management System (BMS) contacts and the

battery poles.

8. Remove fixing bracket from the battery(ies).
9. Place battery(ies) in the original packaging.
10. Fit Plexiglass cover in the battery system.

Disassembly complete.

Observe the remaining instructions in the operating manual for the

Powador-gridsave battery system (chapter 11).
