Practical tips

Scrubbing wheels:

Never use a cutting wheel for

scrubbing

!

Exert only moderate pressure on the work-

piece. Move the device evenly back and

forth.

A working angle of 30° to 40° achieves

the best results for scrub grinding.

Cutting disc:

Never use a scrubbing wheel

for cutting

!

Only certified, fibre-reinforced cutting or

grinding discs may be used.

In general, work with small scrubs. Exert

only moderate pressure on the workpiece.

Always work in the counter-direction. This

ensures that the device is not pushed out of

the cut through lack of control.

Cutting of stone materials:

• It is best to use a diamond cutting disc

to cut stone materials. Make sure in any

case that the cutting disc is suitable and

labelled for your application.

• When cutting stone materials, ensure

that the dust extraction is sufficient.

• Wear a dust protection mask.

• The device may only be used for dry

cutting/dry grinding.

Information on building statics:

Slits in structural walls are subject to the

standard DIN 1053 Part 1 or country-

specific regulations. These regulations must

be observed without fail. Before begin-

ning work you should ask the structural

engineer, architect or relevant construction

supervisor for advice.
