Monkey Spelling
How to Play
The object of the game is to correctly spell as many words as you can
before time runs out! Listen to the word announced and then move
Turbo Monkey to grab the letters to spell the word correctly.
Move the rocker wheel up or down to move Turbo Monkey right
or left.
Press the top button (Push Button A) to grab a letter, or grab a
“Power-Up”.
Push the Rocker Wheel in to duck and avoid a flying obstacle.
What’s Being Taught?
Monkey Spelling includes hundreds of grade-appropriate words that will
help children learn 75 spelling rules. Words are linked to hints that
reinforce key rules and skills. Kids start with short vowels and simple
words such as “bed” and progress through complex words such as
“pause” and “guest.”
Tip: If you spell the word incorrectly, listen for a hint!
