1. With the G3 turned on or off, perform a 2 second press of TZ (time zone)

button; the time zone flashes in the display, with the number of minutes
ahead or behind GMT (Greenwich Mean Time).

2. Use the tuning knob or quick, short presses of the TZ button to select

your home time zone (see time zone abbreviation list below).

3. Press PAGE/TIME to confirm the setting.

The G3’s clock is in 24-hour format. Turn off the G3.
1. With the G3 turned off, press the PAGE/TIME button for about 2 seconds

or until the hour digits start flashing.

2. While it’s flashing press F1-7 to highlight today’s weekday. F1 is Sunday

F2 is Monday, etc.

3. While it’s still flashing (or within 3 seconds) use the tuning knob to set

the correct hour, then immediately press PAGE/TIME again, noting that
the minute digits start flashing.

4. While they’re flashing (or within 3 seconds) use the tuning knob to set

the correct minutes.

5. Immediately press PAGE/TIME again. The clock and weekday are set.

The G3 has 4, independently programmable alarm timers (buttons F1-4
when the radio is turned off) to turn it on at a specified time. Additionally,
each timer can be programmed for a specific weekday, volume, playtime
and memory location. We suggest that you read this procedure thoroughly
setting.
To set an alarm:
1. With the G3 turned off, perform a long press of one of the F1-4 buttons

(about 3 seconds), causing the hour to flash.

2. While it’s still flashing press one of the F1-7 buttons to highlight the

day(s) of the week for the alarm turn on. Notice that a square surrounds
the F1-7 button that you’ve pressed. Place squares around all 7 of them
if you want the alarm to activate each day.

3. While it’s flashing use the tuning knob to set the hour; and Press the

PAGE/TIME button causing the minutes to flash.

4. While they’re flashing use the tuning knob to set the minutes, then press

the PAGE/TIME button causing VOL (volume) to appear.

5. While it’s in the display use the tuning knob to set the wake-up volume,

then press the PAGE/TIME button, causing the alarm’s play minutes to
appear as DELAY.

6. While they appear in the display use the tuning knob to set the wake-up

alarm’s play minutes from 1-99, then press the PAGE/TIME button, caus-
ing the memory page number to appear in the display.

7. While it’s in the display use the tuning knob to set the memory page

number or select no page number by selecting 00 if you want to use the
last frequency that you were tuned to.
