To avoid danger to life from electric shock
Before connecting the lamp to the mains 4 , always check it and
the mains lead / plug for any damage. Never use your lamp if you
discover that it is damaged in any way.
If the external flexible lead of this lamp becomes damaged, avoid
danger and have it replaced by the manufacturer, his servicing
agent or an equivalent electrical appliance repair specialist.
