The indicator lamp 3 lights up and the
appliance heats up.

8. Allow the appliance heat up for around

10 minutes.
Note:

If you wish to use the stone grill

plate 1, it may take longer to heat up.

The appliance is now ready to use.

6.2 Regulating temperature,

switching on and off

The best cooking temperature depends
chiefly on the type of food being cooked.
1. To turn the appliance on, turn the

temperature regulator 5 one notch
clockwise towards MAX.
The indicator lamp 3 lights up and the
appliance heats up. The indicator
lamp 3 goes off once the set temperature
has been reached.

2. If the temperature is too low and it is

taking too long to cook, turn the
temperature regulator 5 one notch
towards MAX.
Note:

When maintaining a steady

temperature to reheat food the indicator
lamp will always show 3.

3. If the temperature is too high, turn the

temperature regulator 5 one notch
towards "0".

4. To turn the appliance off, turn the

temperature regulator 5 one notch
anticlockwise towards "0".

5. Remove the plug from the mains socket

after use. This is the only way to ensure
that the machine is completely free of
current.

6.3 Preparing the raclette

1. Fill the raclette pans 7 with your chosen

ingredients.

Caution!

Do not overfill the pans 7,

otherwise the ingredients could be too
thick and could burn.

2. Put the raclette pans 7 on the grill in the

recesses.

3. Remove the raclette pans 7 from the

appliance as soon as the ingredients are
cooked.

4. Slide the contents of the raclette pan 7

onto a plate using the wooden spatula 8
and enjoy.
Note:

As the raclette pans 7 have an

anti-stick coating, they do not require
oiling before each use.

6.4 Grilling with the grill pan

The grill plate 2 is for grilling meat,
sausages, fruit and vegetables.

6.5 Grilling with the stone grill plate

Notes:

• If you have already lightly oiled the

stone grill plate 1 (see "6.1 Preparing
the appliance" on page 48), do not use
any additional fat or oil when using the
stone grill plate 1 for grilling.

• As the stone grill plate 1 gets very hot

and retains a lot of heat, it is well suited
to meat.

• The stone grill plate 1 is especially well

suited to steaks, fried meats, sausages,
gammon and poultry.

• The stone grill plate 1 may change

colour slightly over time. This will not
effect the performance.

• The stone grill plate 1 takes some time to

become hot enough. You can shorten
this time by preheating the stone grill
plate in the oven.
