DISPOSAL OF OLD

ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES

The European Directive 2002/96/EC on Wa-

ste Electrical and Electronic Equipment

(WEEE), requires that old household electri-

cal appliances must not be disposed of in

the normal unsorted municipal waste stre-

am.

Old appliances must be collected separately

in order to optimise the recovery and

recycling of the materials they contain and reduce the

impact on human health and the environment.

The crossed out “wheeled bin” symbol on the product

reminds you of your obligation, that when you dispose

of the appliance it must be separately collected. Con-

sumers should contact their local authority or retailer

for information concerning the correct disposal of their

old appliance.

4. Turn the control knob to your desired speed or

use the pulse function. Turn the control knob to

‘Off’ when the desired consistency is reached.

5. Unplug the appliance immediately after use.

Do not store food or liquid in the glass jar.

Empty and clean thoroughly after use.

Do not overload the Steam blender. If the

motor stalls, turn the Steam blender off im-

mediately, unplug the unit and carefully remove a

portion of the food, then continue.

CARE AND CLEANINg

Blade is very sharp Handle with care.

Always unplug the appliance from the mains so-

cket before cleaning.

Before first use and after every use, clean each

part thoroughly.

To clean the anti-stick base we recommend the

use of the scrubbing brush which makes it easy

to clean underneath the blades.

To clean the glass jar lid and measuring cup,

wash in hot soapy water.

Wipe the motor base clean with a damp cloth to

remove any residue, and dry thoroughly.

Do not use abrasive cleaners on the housing

base. Apply any cleaning agent on the cloth, not

directly the base.

Make sure all the parts are clean and dry before

storing.

For a better washing of the jar assembly

you can unscrew the jar off the blade unit.

When reassembling, pay attention to the correct

positioning of the gasket. To clean the valve pro-

perly, we recommend using any residual water in

the tank after every use for a fast cycle of approxi-

mately 3 minutes of vaporisation. If you add ap-

proximately 10ml of lemon juice or white-wine vi-

negar, this operation will also be useful to avoid

any limescale buildup.
