7.2 Earbud Software Update

Bowers & Wilkins will occasionally make available
software updates that refine and optimise the
performance of your earbuds or add new features.

The Bowers & Wilkins

Music

app will notify you

when a software update is available. To update, tap
the notification and follow the in-app instructions.

8. Wearing Your Earbuds

Correctly wearing your earbuds will help ensure the
best possible experience. Like many in-ear earbuds,
Pi7 S2 are designed to seal the ear canal in order
to perform optimally. Ear tips come in three sizes:
small, medium and large. Finding the proper size
for your ear is critical to obtaining a good seal and
ensuring Pi7 S2, and the advanced features, such as
Adaptive Noise Cancellation, perform optimally.

1. Identify the left and right earbud by finding the

L and R identification (located on the inner side
of each earbud).

2. Place each earbud in your ear and twist them

backward slightly so that the tips engage
comfortably with the opening of the ear canal.

3. If the earbud tip feels too large or small, try

another ear tip size to ensure the best fit.

Note: To optimise call quality, ensure the
microphones, located underneath each earbud,
are not obstructed. See Diagram 6.

9. Media Streaming Using The Smart
Charging Case

The charging case of your Pi7 S2 can be used
to wirelessly retransmit audio to your earbuds or
another pair of Bowers & Wilkins headphones using
the supplied USB type-C-to-3.5 mm or USB type-C-
to-C cable. See Diagram 7.

1. Connect the supplied cable to the case and the

source device.

2. Your Pi7 S2 will automatically start streaming.

Note: If using Mac and streaming for the first
time, go to

Apple Menu > System Preferences

> Sound > Output

and select “Bowers & Wilkins

Pi7 S2”.
