FUEL VALVE LEVER

FUEL GAUGE

The fuel valve opens and closes
the fuel line leading from the fuel
tank to the carburetor. Make sure
that the fuel valve is positioned
exactly at either the ON or OFF
position. When the snowblower is
not in use, always leave the fuel
valve in the OFF position to
reduce the possibility of fuel
leakage.

The fuel gauge indicates the
amount of fuel in the tank. When
the fuel gauge needle enters the
‘‘E’’ range, refill the tank as soon
as possible.

ON

Running position, and for

starting with the recoil starter.

OFF

Stops the engine.

The engine switch controls the
ignition system. The key (if
equipped) can only be inserted
and removed when turned to OFF.
