Introducing the ProCurve 620 Redundant and
External Power Supply
The ProCurve 620 Redundant and External Power Supply is a dual-mode
power supply that can supply backup power to so equipped ProCurve
switches and additional power for Power over Ethernet (PoE) capable
switches.

Throughout this manual, this unit will be abbreviated as the 620 RPS/EPS.
The 620 RPS/EPS has two redundant power supply (RPS) ports supporting
backup power to two supported ProCurve switches. The 620 RPS/EPS also
has two external power supply (EPS) ports that provide PoE power for up to
two ProCurve PoE switches.
