1. Unplug chime from power source.
2. Open the cases and locate the jumpers on both the chime extender and

chime (see Figure 8).

3. The chime extender and chime both have eight different jumper locations.

Jumper positions 1 through 7 are used for setting the code.

4. To change the code, either:

• Add a jumper to the same location on both the chime extender and the

chime

or...

• Remove a jumper from the same location on both the chime extender and

the chime

or...

• Move a jumper on the chime extender from one location to another. Move

the corresponding jumper on the chime to match the new location in the
chime extender.

Example: Move jumper at location “5” to location “4” on both the chime

extender and the chime.

Note: Jumpers in positions 1 through 7 must be exactly the same for both
the chime extender and chime for this system to function.
Note: Unit will come factory set with jumpers in locations 5, 6, and 7 on the
chime extender and on the chime.
The range of the wireless chime can vary with location, temperature, and
battery condition.
