Disconnecting the DCS 645 from the
Camera Body

Place the camera on a table or other flat
surface.

If they are connected, unplug the video cable

(page 140)

and the IEEE 1394 cable

(page

84)

. Turn off and disconnect all flash and

strobe systems.

Turn off the camera body.

If the DCS 645 is being powered by battery,
remove the battery

(page 64)

If the DCS 645 is being powered by AC
adapter, disconnect the AC adapter.

Rotate the DCS 645M or 645C Release button
to the left and press, then pivot the top of the
camera body away from the DCS 645. For the
DCS 645H the Release handle is on the
camera body.

Carefully remove the DCS 645 from the
camera body.

Do not store the DCS 645 with an attached
battery or with the AC adapter plugged in.
