Turning the TV On and Off (Standby)

The TV has a Power button (A) on the front of the
display. You can also use the remote control Power
button to turn on the TV.

Pressing the Power button either turns the TV on or
places it into standby, which is a reduced power state.

The Power button includes an indicator light, which
shows the power status of the TV.

After the initial setup, the power-up time from standby
depends on the Standby Mode setting:

Low power, which consumes less power while in
standby, uses approximately 20 seconds of
power-up time.

Fast power, which consumes more power while in
standby, uses approximately 5 seconds of power-
up time.

You can set the Standby Mode by using the
System menu.

If the TV is not used for an extended period of time,
press the Power button to place the TV into standby,
and then unplug the power cord.
