Item Component Description
(1) Battery/hard drive cover Provides access to the following components:
● battery
● primary hard drive
● secondary hard drive
● wireless audio module
(2) Vent Enables airflow to cool internal components.
NOTE: The computer fan starts up automatically to cool
internal components and prevent overheating. It is normal
for the internal fan to cycle on and off during
routine operation.
(3) Release latch Releases the battery/hard drive cover.
(4) Service access cover Provides access to the following components:
● Memory modules
● mSATA drive
● Optical drive
●
RTC battery
●
Subwoofer
●
WLAN module
(5) HP Triple Bass Reflex Subwoofer Provides superior bass sound.
