recharged
incorrectly, or
have drained on

because they
have not been

NiMH batteries are not fully
charged when new, and they
discharge over time whether or
not they are installed in a
camera. Batteries that are new
or have not been charged
recently must be recharged to
reach full capacity (see
page 109).
Battery
chemistry type
is inappropriate
for the way the
camera is being
used.

The camera
does not
respond when

turned off or has
