The power tilt switch is located on
the engine pan. It is a rocker switch
with UP and DN (down) positions
for changing the angle of the
outboard motor.

The power tilt switch will operate
without turning the ignition switch
ON.

This switch is used with the engine
stopped to raise the outboard motor
for mooring, trailering or
maintenance.

When the engine is cold, put the
choke switch ON. A rich fuel
mixture will be provided to the
engine.

A manual choke knob is located on
the right side of the motor, which can
be used in the event the battery is
discharged. Pull the manual choke
knob, and a rich fuel mixture will be
provided to the engine.
