Your DirtTamer Deluxe® Vacuum
Chamber uses 6 nickel cadmium
(Ni-Cad) batteries which are
factory installed in the Battery/
AC Adapter Compartment.
When the battery life has been
exceeded, the entire Battery/AC
Adapter Compartment should be
removed from the Vacuum
Chamber and recycled in
accordance with state, and/or
national laws.
To remove/replace the
Battery/AC Adapter
Compartment, follow these
steps:
a. Open the Battery/AC
Adapter Compartment by
depressing the Battery/AC
Adapter Compartment Latch
at the rear of the unit and
sliding the Battery/AC
Adapter Compartment out of
the Vacuum Chamber
(see figure 1)
b. Recycle according to State,
and/or National Laws. Please
call 1-800-822-8837 for
disposal instructions and drop
off locations in your area.
c. A new Battery/AC Adapter
Compartment, which contains
fresh batteries, can be
ordered from the
FilterStream Customer
Service Center at 800-211-
9607.
Note: Please call 1-800-822-

area. The batteries must not be
incinerated or composted.
