HDD Mode Screen
This screen displays the following items:
• DVCPROHD
Supports 100 Mb/s streams from the Panasonic AG-HVX200
companion camcorder (1080i and 720p).
Versions 3.x and 4.x support 720 PN.
In addition, 4.x supports VFR modes. The PN/VF record
processing is performed on the FS-100. The camera must be in
the corresponding non-PN mode (720 24P/25P/30P). The FS-100
does not support the PN streams as a valid input.
Other DVCPROHD compatible input devices also supported.
• DVCPRO50
Supports 50 Mb/s streams from the Panasonic AG-HVX200
companion camcorder and other DVCPRO 50 input devices.
• DVCPRO/DV
Supports 25 Mb/s streams from the Panasonic AG-HVX200
companion camcorder and other DVCPRO/DV input devices.
AG-HVX200 Setup for PN/VFR
In PN/VFR record modes, the AG-HVX200's RECORDING SETUP -> UB
MODE must be set to FRM. RATE. For VFR mode, see Variable Frame
Rate ( VFR) Settings on page 38.
VFR Mutes Audio
The audio is muted on all VFR recordings.
FS-100 Automatically Detects Input Stream from AG-HVX200
FS-100 automatically detects the stream type input from the AG-HVX200
camcorder and, in addition, selects the appropriate HDD MODE.
