The screen examples used in this manual are of FUJITSU TWAIN
32 scanner driver, FUJITSU ISIS scanner driver, ScandAll PRO
and QuickScan Pro TM (which are image capturing software), and
Adobe Acrobat.

Use of Mercury
To avoid unexpected injuries:
• Do not put the substance contained in the lamp in your mouth

• Do not breathe the chemical liquid contained in the scanner
lamps.
• Do not incinerate, crush, or shred the lamps or scanner parts.
Maintenance
The user must not perform repairs on this scanner.
Contact the store where you purchased the scanner or an autho-
rized FUJITSU Image Scanner service provider to make repairs to
this product.
Warning Label
HOT warning label:
The glass surface inside the ADF becomes hot during
the operation. Be careful not to touch glass surfaces
inside the ADF.
To avoid burns, never touch around the area
indicated by this label.
Take care not to pinch your fingers while turning the ADF.
Lamp(s) inside this product contain mercury and
must be recycled or disposed of according to local,
state, or federal laws.

You must NOT remove this warning label from your
scanner. When it gets old or unreadable by staining or
scratches, contact the store where you purchased the
scanner or an authorized FUJITSU scanner service
provider.
