AutoPlay
Enables you to skip the ads and trailers and
play your DVDs automatically when they are
inserted in the tray.
1 Press SETUP.
2 Use  /  to select “Preferences.”
3 Use  /  to select “AutoPlay,” then press
ENTER.
4 Use  /  to turn AutoPlay on or off.
5 Press SETUP to exit.
Auto Clock
Enables the DVD Recorder+VCR to set the
clock automatically whenever it is plugged in
but powered off.
1 Press SETUP.
2 Use  /  to select “Preferences.”
3 Use  /  to select “Auto Clock,” then press
ENTER.
4 Use  /  to turn Auto Clock on or off.
5 Press SETUP to exit.
VCR Search
Enables you to search for index marks or tape
counter positions on your videotapes.
• You must have a tape loaded for these
features to be enabled.
Index Search
Searches for specific index marks on your
videotape.
1 Press SETUP.
2 Use  /  to select “Preferences.”
3 Use  /  to select “VCR,” then press
ENTER.
4 Use  /  to select “Index Search,” then
press ENTER.
5 Press REW or FF to scan backward or
forward for index marks.
OR
Use
 /  to select a specific index number,
and press ENTER.
6 The DVD Recorder+VCR rewinds or fast-
forwards to the desired index mark.
7 Press SETUP to exit.
Go-To Search
Searches for specific times on your videotape.
1 Press SETUP.
2 Use  /  to select “Preferences.”
3 Use  /  to select “VCR,” then press
ENTER.
4 Use  /  to select “Go-To Search,” then
press ENTER.
5 Use  /  to select a specific time on your
tape.
6 Press REW or FF to start scanning
backward or forward to the specified
counter position.
7 Press SETUP to exit.
