from moving parts at all
times to reduce this risk.
Basic Controls
use figure 14 and the following descriptions to
become familiar with the basic controls of your
planer.
A. Magnetic ON/Off Switch: starts/stops the
planer.
B. Return Rollers: provide a convenient meth-
od for returning workpieces to the infeed side
of the planer.
C. Table Height Handwheel: Controls the ele-
vation of the table under the cutterhead.
D. feed Rate Control Knob: switches the feed
rollers between high and low feed rates or, in
the center position, stops the feed rollers.
E. Table Locks: Locks the table in position so it
does not move during operations.
