6. Adjust the volume level from the VOLUME knob !0 on the
PM-11S2 or the VOLUME 3/4 buttons n of the remote
controller.

BASIC OPERATIONS
PLAYBACK
To explain how to play back input sources, representative
examples are given with an Super Audio CD player and analog
record player. Before starting either procedure, check the
component is correctly connected to the PM-11S2.

Disc Playback on an Super Audio CD
Player
1. Press the power ON/OFF switch of the Super Audio CD
player to activate power to it.
2. Press the POWER ON/OFF switch !3 of the PM-11S2
to activate power to it. When using multiple PM-11S2s
connected by F.C.B.S., turn power ON in the order of lowest
to highest ID number, starting from ID 1.
3. Select the input source from the INPUT SELECTOR knob
q on the PM-11S2 or the input selector buttons z of the
remote controller.
4. To use the speakers connected to the SPEAKER A
terminals, press the SPEAKER A button r on the PM-
11S2.
5. Load a disc into the Super Audio CD player and press the
play button to start playback.
6. Adjust the volume level from the VOLUME knob !0 on the
PM-11S2 or the VOLUME 3/4 buttons n of the remote
controller.
7. Adjust bass/treble as desired from the TONE button e
on the PM-11S2 or the TONE button v of the remote
controller. For instructions on how to adjust bass and treble,
see “How to Trim Bass” and “How to Trim Treble” on pg.
23.

Disc Playback on an Analog Record
Player
1. Press the POWER ON/OFF switch !3 of the PM-11S2
to activate power to it. When using multiple PM-11S2s
connected by F.C.B.S., turn power ON in the order of lowest
to highest ID number, starting from ID 1.
2. Select “PHONO” as the input source from the INPUT
SELECTOR knob q on the PM-11S2 or the input selector
buttons z of the remote controller. To prevent unexpected
accidents, it is recommended to set the volume level to –∞
(mute) by turning the VOLUME knob !0 until muting the
volume level.
3. Set the PHONO MC button o on the PM-11S2 to MC or
MM according to the cartridge you are using.
4. To use the speakers connected to the SPEAKER A
terminals, press the SPEAKER A button r on the PM-
11S2.
5. Set a record on the analog record player and play it.
