Choosing the Route Preference

If you selected Car/Motorcycle as your

Navigation method. Select from one of the

available options: Shortest Time, Shortest

Distance, Least Use of Freeways or Most use of

Freeways.

Route button

Once you have selected your Navigation Mode and Route Method (Car/Motorcycle only),

tick the Avoid Toll Roads option if you want your route to be calculated avoiding toll roads

and then select the Route button to calculate your route.

The Map screen will automatically display with your route highlighted.

Note that all Navigation Mode and Route Preference settings will be saved for your next

address selection but they can be overridden on each new trip if you wish.

Choosing your destination

Detailed map routing: The Magellan CrossoverGPS can only provide routing information

for detailed maps that are loaded on the SD Card. The detailed maps loaded on your SD

Card can cover one or several countries. It is not possible to be guided from and to an

address that doesn’t belong to the detailed maps that are loaded on your SD Card.

When your SD card is loaded with detailed maps for several countries, you must make

sure that the approriate Country of Destination has been selected before you start

searching for an address or a POI.
