Overview

The Enhanced POI option provides access to personal POI files (My POI) that you can

create and upload onto the Magellan CrossoverGPS SD Card and to Premium POIs such as

the preloaded Marco Polo database of points of interest.

My POI

The Magellan CrossoverGPS allows you to use your own points of interest. You can create

and edit your POI files using the Magellan PC Tools software provided on CD-Rom. This

software will also allow you to transfer POI files that can be easily downloaded from the

internet to your GPS. We strongly recommend that you check the Magellan PC Tools

section of this manual for infomation about how to edit and upload your own POI files

onto your Magellan CrossoverGPS.

Use the My POI option to select the POI file you want to use, the categories to display on

the map, to set alarms or to select one of your own POIs as a destination.

Accessing the My POI Menu

1.

From the Main Menu, select

to go to page 2 of the Main Menu.

Select the Enhanced POI icon.

Select the My POI option

Loading a My POI file

1.

Install an SD card with POIs you’ve created using the Magellan PC Tools software.

(Make sure that the POIs you create using Magellan PC Tools have been uploaded

onto the SD card supplied with your Magellan CrossoverGPS.)

2.

Access the My POI menu.

3.

Select Change My POI file.

4.

Select Select a POI File.

5.

Select the desired POI file from the list of POI files available. Note that only one

My POI file can be loaded at a time.
