Step5: Exit the “Configure Wizard” and then restart the 8430/8830/8KE4/8KE8 for the new
settings.
2.1.2 By MiniOS7 Utility
The MiniOS7 Utility is used to download files and update the OS image to the
8430/8830/8KE4/8KE8. It can also be used to configure the network and COM port settings.
In contrast to “Configure Wizard”, users must have valid IP, Mask, Gateway information and
must manually enter it into the text box provided.
Step1: Use CA-0915 to connect COM1 of 8430/8830/8KE4/8KE8 to COM1/2 of the host
PC.
Step2: Install the MiniOS7 Utility on the host PC by running
CD:\Napdos\MiniOS7\Utility\MiniOS7_Utility\MiniOS7_Utility.exe
