Strength
The mower decks on the 8800 are stamped from
10-gauge steel, enclosed for protection within a
frame that carries the load when mowing, and
guarded by a front-mounted skid plate.
Fast height-of-cut adjustment
All of this strength and protection enables
easiest-in-class height-of-cut adjustment that
requires no tools at all to quickly change
cutting height.

Thanks to lost motion cylinders, mower decks
can react quicker to changes in the terrain and
hug the ground.

The 8800 is fast, and fl awless. Five deep 21-inch, double-pivoting rear-discharge
rotary decks follow ground contour and vacuum up grass for a clean cut. High-
displacement front and rear wheel motors, and GRIP All-Wheel Drive give it
the power to take on the ups and downs of your course. And a double-acting
steering cylinder makes holding a line effortless.

Responsive GRIP All-Wheel Drive helps maintain
consistent fl ow to all wheels for changing course
terrain. By directing fl ow from a front wheel mo-
tor to the opposite rear wheel it provides excellent
traction in the ups and downs of rough mowing.

A 43.1-horsepower* turbo-charged diesel
engine with an intercooler easily generates
enough power to cut the densest turf.
