Managing Schedules and Ev

ents (the Date Book)

Purge

You can specify a certain period based on Sony handheld calendar and
discard any schedules that were formed before your specified date. You can
save the memory space of your Sony handheld. This command opens the
Purge dialog box. Tap OK to carry out the discard function and Cancel to
cancel the discard function.

Notes

• When you execute the discard function, any repeating events that expire before the

specified date will be deleted.

• By default, all events you discarded are restored when HotSync with a computer is

executed. To delete the events completely, tap and uncheck Save archive copy on PC in
the Delete Event dialog box.

Beam Event

Sends the current event to another Sony handheld via the infrared
communications port.
