5.1.1 Version
The Version menu allows the user to view system information such as
hardware and software versions. From the System Setup menu, select
<Version> and press ENTER. The following menu is displayed.

The items in this menu are described in the following subsections.
5.1.1.1 Model Name & Version
The first three items tell the model name and identify the hardware and
software version for this unit.
5.1.1.2 Software Upgrade via Local Device
This item is used for updating the DVR-4TN/ DVR-8TN/ DVR-16TN series
software by local device. The menu is displayed as follows.

Connect a USB drive that contains the upgrade software to the unit; the
upgrade files that are available will then be listed in the menu. To update the
system, select a file and use UP / DOWN keys to choose <YES>. Press
ENTER to confirm the selection and start the upgrade process. The
DVR-4TN/8TN/16TN/16TS/16TT series unit uploads the software, updates
the system files, and reboots automatically.
The upgrade process may take several minutes to complete. After rebooting
the unit, please check the software version again.
